May - Oct 2026 | By donationThe Moonset Series
The moonset series is a constellation of herbal immersion workshops where BIPOC folks can learn the foundations of plant medicine through the lenses of intersectionality, decolonization, and liberation.
Moon + Mirror supports participants to decolonize and unlearn the ways we've been taught to interact with our bodies, our minds, our spirits, the land, and each other.
We aim to co-create brave space for folks to reconnect and reclaim their ancestral healing ways & deepen into their personal and collective healing journeys.
The series consists of 9 workshops, each with a different area of focus without requiring participants to attend all workshops.
Join us for one, join us for all, or anything in between…
The Moonset Series
-
This program began as an antidote to Western Herbalism courses that lacked a deeper perspective and practice of acknowledging, reducing & actively undoing the harmful impacts of the wellness industrial complex and its enmeshment with intersecting violences.
Throughout this program, we will be holding Indigenous, place-based and/or ancestral ways of knowing at the heart of our practice. This means that we will explore learning in expansive ways that may include plant meditations, movement, song, food, land tending, medicine making, care work, and storytelling.
We encourage you to feel into and pray about what the Land and Plants in particular are asking us to bring forward during these times as medicine for our People, and how best our communities may receive, digest and integrate that.

The core values for this program include re-membering our relationship to ourselves, to Land, and to each other via
repair
reciprocity
reverence

All of the workshops will be masks-required for everyone, however individuals may opt out because of a different access need. We will have air filters running in indoor spaces and will ask that everyone take masks breaks and eat/drink outdoors. We will provide hand sanitizer and extra masks for folx.
